28/1/2024 - ZL1/AK-018 (Clevedon)

After Pukekohe Hill I was keen to try something a little more challenging, in terms of effort required to get there. Clevedon provided that, as you take a loop track and then veer off to get to this site. It's not too difficult, more varied and takes a little bit of time.

Right out the gate ZL1TZP Steve made contact, followed by Soren ZL1SKL, ZL1AOX Ian, ZL1TGS Jimmy, ZL1NL Nick, and ZL1LZ Matt.

After UTC rollover I nabbed ZL1TZP Steve again, a nice way to book-end the activation.

All contacts were made on 2m. It was a good day of exercise and playing with radios. Oh, and of course geocaching along the way!
